Animal ER Care Selected as Finalist for Colorado Companies to Watch

Being recognized by the Colorado Companies to Watch organization is an incredible honor and speaks to our commitment to excellence, innovation, and progress

Animal ER Care is honored to have been selected as a Finalist for Colorado Companies To Watch! The awards program recognizes growing businesses that are making immense strides in the Colorado economy.

“Being recognized by the Colorado Companies To Watch organization is an incredible honor and speaks to our commitment to be the ER of choice in the Pikes Peak Region” said Gabrielle David, CEO. “We would like to thank everyone who helped us along this journey, especially our team for their hard work and dedication”, continues Ms. David.

On October 20, 2016, Gabrielle David, MJ “Sutton” Spanton & Dr. Ashley Sides became partners in the ownership of Animal ER Care, LLC (AERC), previously known as Animal Emergency Care Centers. With all three partners having a goal of excellence in patient care and client service, they knew purchasing AECC from Dr. James Gaynor would be the first step to achieving that goal for Animal ER Care, LLC. They have continued the legacy of quality emergency care for pets within their community. And to support the growing demand, an additional location was opened in October 2022. Along with adding this clinic, the three partners welcomed an additional partner, Dr. Jennifer Price. Together, the AERC teams strive to serve every emergency with Kindness, Compassion, and Integrity.

“We are honored to be included among other up-and-coming companies in Colorado and look forward to the Finalist Reception and Expo in April,” says Sutton Spanton, COO. “We are thankful to be based in the beautiful state of Colorado and are proud to be an active participant in our community”, adds Ms. Spanton.

Colorado Companies to Watch celebrates the business leaders and entrepreneurs who are driving innovation and economic growth in our state," said Matt Frary, the Board Chair of Colorado Companies To Watch. "The companies selected as finalists demonstrate a commitment to creating jobs, investing in their communities, and finding creative solutions to the challenges facing their industries. We’re proud to recognize them for their efforts and look forward to celebrating their accomplishments at the Finalist Reception and Expo." continues Frary.

The Finalist Reception and Expo features a forum of speakers, networking opportunities, and the recognition of finalists in front of an audience of 300 people. The event takes place April 18th, 2024, at the Geotech Environmental Equipment in Denver.

Since 2009, Colorado Companies to Watch has honored the critical, yet often overlooked, second-stage companies from across the state for their undeniable impact on our communities.
