Dr. Julie Hesse

I did my undergraduate education at CU Boulder, then went to veterinary school at CSU. I graduated from veterinary school with honors in 1997. After a few years of general practice, I realized that my passion was ER medicine and I’ve been practicing ER only since 2004. It’s rewarding to be able to intervene in an emergency situation and to save a life as I love all animals passionately.
My main hobby and passion is riding horses. I enjoy everything from dressage riding to reining. Between the two retired horses at home and my show horse, they keep me busy. I also do more than my fair share of reading and always love hanging out with my dog.
