Raymond Romero

Veterinary Technician Development Manager/Clinic Manager

I hold a degree in Zoo Keeping Technology from Pikes Peak Community College and a degree in Veterinary Technology from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology. I have worked in animal care and veterinary medicine for nearly 20 years. Born and raised in Colorado, I have experience in general practice, specialty, and emergency medicine, where I have spent the majority of my time in the field. In addition, I have had the opportunity to work in zoo and aquarium medicine. My professional interests include exotic animal medicine, nutrition, and pain management. I also have a strong passion for teaching, mentoring, and staff training, and I enjoy helping others grow their skills and confidence in veterinary medicine.

Outside of work, I enjoy trying new restaurants, going to the movies, and spending time with my two cats, Azul and Draco.
