Amanda Parra

FOH Supervisor

I was born and raised in Southern California. Growing up I always loved animals and they held a special place in my heart. I started my Vet Med journey in 2012 at a general practice facility in California. At the general practice I found my passion for veterinary medicine and learned so much. I moved with my family to Colorado Springs in 2021 and started my journey in ER Vet medicine. The change to ER Vet medicine really opened my eyes to a whole new chapter of veterinary medicine. My favorite part of my job is being able to help and support owners through an emergent situation. My family includes my husband, three kids, 2 dogs (Rosie & Champion), 1 cat (Kit Kat) and 1 betta fish (Squishie). My passions outside of work are exploring beautiful Colorado, crocheting, and reading. I love going out with my family hiking, fishing and watching my kiddos on the soccer fields. Our favorite place to explore is Sequoias National Park in California, but we are finding a lot of new places to explore here in Colorado.
